Do I believe that Drizzt Do'Urden is one of the most over-used, poorly written, hilariously overdone tropes in fantasy since ever? Why yes.

Did that have any impact on the creation of Skeeter?

Mannnn, I was really hoping that the kitchen was staffed by Chuppacabra. And that the menu strangely consists of lots of goat and goat blood.
