I remember taking field trips during school days. It was a wonderful break from classes, even though sometimes the trips would be educational. HOWEVER, at all times we were under the watchful eyes of the faculty. NEVER did they ever just drop us off somewhere and say, "Bye! Try not to get hurt." I mean, there was a werewolf STAYING at the Shrieking Shack. A WEREWOLF! Granted it was Lupin, and he wouldn't hurt a fly...unless that fly was a traitorous rat.

ANNOUNCEMENT: As you may have noticed, we added a "Fan Art" section to the website. If you have some Thornsaddle-inspired art that you would like featured there, send it to Thornsaddle@gmail.com with a link to your website so we can link to it when we put your image up.

Again, wizards are hardcore people and need not that much supervision. They could always AK the werewolf. Hm. I guess JKR didn't think about this when she made it all dramatic with James saving Severus - we all know that Sevvy could've blasted the thing to oblivion. I guess she just wanted us to have Remus alive, until killin him in the end. Hm.

The fact that this is a ghost town is a total win. I wanna see what happens next. Like how do you tip a ghost stripper without the money just falling thru them... oh wait, they are first years or sth. Which in your comic are going to get hammered. Nice message to send to all the kids out there, Captain Tight Pants.

When are you going to introduce the Professors and all other adult folks? Like the slightly evil Potions Master called Snayne who tries to do bad things, like sell the school nurse's son, an exceptional Seer who the MoM wants to experiment on. But he always ends up looking like a hero, at least to the people of Rattlecrow, who even made him a statue of sand, coz he once accidentally transported a large amount of Sensing Potion to their village, and now they are able to feel despite being ghosts. They still sing songs about him.

You reeeally should take me into the writing team...

I think this field trip is just an excuse for the teachers to get hammered.

Mike, we may have to bring J on to the writing staff just so he'll stop predicting future strips. SERIOUSLY MAN, are you reading our emails? XD

@Linden: I 100% whole heartedly agree.

@J: Hey! Read the alt text. We have a disclaimer. Also, the history of Thornsaddle and other characters will be introduced in good time.

I'm sure Madam Rosmerta keeps an eye on them while they're in the pub. Aberforth...well, he doesn't care, but the Hog's Head is creepy and smells like goat.
